BANNED BOOKS: Jewish History, Free Speech, and Educating our Children

Everyone is invited to gather in our newly refurbished and reorganized Temple Library for an informative discussion of issues related to banned books. Rabbi Ross and Rabbi Brockman will contribute a Jewish historical and social justice framework for understanding and responding to book banning. Ms. Leslie Redmond will share how we can guide our children to understand the banning of books and how our community handles this unfortunate situation. Everyone will have the opportunity to browse in the Library and learn about the updated procedures for checking out materials.  All are welcome! Please contact Nancy Moss Racusin at 203-215-0231 for further information.
