CMI’s Brotherhood of Men and Women (BMW) functions as a service auxiliary of the synagogue, acting on the tenets of chavurah (fellowship), g’milut chasadim (doing good deeds), and tzedakah (righteous giving).

The presentation of the annual Alan Lakin Award of Merit to an outstanding member of the CMI community
Annual gifts, through the Tzedakah committee, to social service organizations in and beyond our walls
Periodic capital gifts that benefit the synagogue
Many members of the BMW frequently assist with other tasks and events at CMI.
Members of the congregation are welcome to volunteer with the Brotherhood by participating in activities or by serving on the BMW Board. The BMW Board is open to new ideas.
