The Zamir Chorale of Boston is the featured musical talent for this year’s Cantor’s Concert — Mah Tovu: Celebrating the Good at Mishkan Israel. The evening will include appetizers, a silent auction, and desserts.

The Chorale is led by Dr. Joshua Jacobson, one of the world’s leading authorities on Jewish choral music.

The CMI Alive Speaker Series presents Dr. Stan Friedman. In the 2nd of this 3 part series, Dr. Friedman will discuss “Kabbalistic Views of Life After Death.” The 3rd class is on May 6.

Dr. Friedman is on the faculty of Yale School of Medicine. He has studied kabbalah for over 20 years with British Kabbalist, Z’ev ben Shimon Halevi and serves on Board of the International Kabbalah Society. In this session, he will cover the history of the development of Kabbalah, key Kabbalistic concepts, and how Kabbalah relates to your spirituality and daily living.

Do you love to bake? Come share your passion with others, meet new friends, and learn tips and tricks of the trade from professional bakers in our new Baking Group. Each session is limited to 6 participants, providing bakers with an opportunity to get to know their fellow bakers and have complete hands-on experience. Participants bring an apron and two dish towels. Advance sign up is required; RSVP to the office.
