Sanctuary Photo Exposition

Communities Fighting for Freedom

Monday, October 14 – 11:30 a.m.

This traveling photo exposition is meant to provide a peek inside the lives of two courageous men in the New Haven area who have sought sanctuary while their orders of deportation have been considered in court. These meaningful photographs share their stories of love, support, pain, suffering and uncertainty – experiences shared with their loved ones as well as with the community that has or continues to support them. The exposition has been held in many congregations in the greater New Haven community for two week periods. Congregation Mishkan Israel will host the exposition throughout the Sukkot Holiday – beginning with an “opening” after Sukkot Morning Services on Monday October 14, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Please join us for a pot-luck luncheon in our Sukkah after you view the photos.
